Public Transit/ Rideshare
Don't want to drive? No problem! Plan your trip to Taste of Hayward via the BART or AC Transit bus lines. CSU East Bay Students can take AC Transit Line 60 to the Hayward BART station for FREE using the EasyPass. 

Check-In
On the date of the event, all ticketholders will check in with our team near the fountain at City Hall, located at 777 B St, Hayward, CA 94541. Check-in starts as early as 3:45pm and ends at 7:15pm. Please present the QR code from your ticket (from your mobile device or printed copy) which will be scanned by our team and exchanged for your official event “Passport.” This will serve as your ticket throughout the event, so don't lose it or throw it away!

Passport/Getting Around
Your Passport will have the event map on the front, while the backside lists all participating establishments, along with what they'll be serving. You will need the map on the front of your passport to find your way to participating establishments, each of which will have a sign posted in front with their Restaurant Stop number. You may start at any point along the route and navigate as you wish. As you approach each establishment, hand them your passport. They will check off the box next to their listing on your passport, give you your tasting, then return your passport back to you. For alcoholic beverage samples (21+), be prepared to show your valid state-issued ID.

Event Schedule
Although attendees will have up to 4 hours (4pm-8pm) to pick up all their tastings, most are able to do so within 1 to 2 hours. Ticket holders can check in as early as 3:45pm, but will not be allowed to start sampling from restaurants until the 4pm start time. Check-in ends at 7:15pm and the event will end at 8pm sharp.
